These Official Rules ("Rules") govern the Blue Knight Storage 6 Months Free Rent Giveaway (the "Sweepstakes"). By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

Quick Summary

Rent any storage unit at Blue Knight Storage between May 1, 2026 and July 30, 2026 and you'll be automatically entered for a chance to win 6 months of free rent. Prepay multiple months at signup and get bonus entries. Don't want to rent? You can enter for free by mail — instructions in Section 4 below. One winner will be drawn on or about August 3, 2026.

2. Definitions

"Sweepstakes" means the 6 Months Free Rent Giveaway described in these Rules.
"Sponsor" means Blue Knight Storage.
"Sweepstakes Period" means the period beginning May 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Mountain Time and ending July 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM Mountain Time.
"Entrant" means an individual who submits a valid entry in accordance with these Rules.
"Winner" means the Entrant selected through the random drawing process described in Section 8.
"Prize" means the award described in Section 6.
"Prepayment" means rent paid in advance for multiple consecutive months at the time the rental agreement is signed.
"Standard Self-Storage Unit" means a self-storage unit publicly listed and available for rent on Sponsor's website at blueknightstorage.com, including non-climate-controlled units, climate-controlled units, and covered parking spaces. The term excludes commercial leases, custom leases, whole-building leases, ground leases, and any other rental arrangements not publicly listed on Sponsor's website.

3. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the State of Montana who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. Proof of age and residency may be required.

The following persons are not eligible to enter or win:

Owners, members, officers, directors, employees, agents, and contractors of Sponsor
Immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of any of the foregoing, whether or not related, of any person listed above
Any person who has won a prize from Sponsor with a value of $500 or more in the twelve (12) months preceding the Sweepstakes Period
Any individual or entity that is a party to, or an owner, officer, director, employee, agent, or representative of a party to, a commercial lease, whole-building lease, or other non-standard rental arrangement with Sponsor
Anyone otherwise prohibited from participating by applicable law

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances apply.

4. How to Enter

There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes. Each method offers a meaningful chance to win, and both rental and mail-in entries are pooled together for the random drawing.

Method 1 — Rental Entry (with Bonus Entries for Prepayment)

Sign a new rental agreement for any Standard Self-Storage Unit at Blue Knight Storage during the Sweepstakes Period to receive entries based on the prepayment tier you select at signup. Commercial leases, whole-building leases, and other non-standard rental arrangements do not qualify for entry under this method.

The easiest way to set up a prepaid rental is to give us a call at (406) 314-2770 and we'll get you taken care of. You can also rent online first and then call us to apply prepayment to your account before the drawing.

Tier rules:

Entries are awarded at the time the rental agreement is signed and the prepayment is processed in full.
Entries do not stack across tiers. Selecting a prepayment tier replaces the base entry count, not adds to it.
Prepayment must cover consecutive months beginning with the first month of the rental term.
The rental account must be in good standing (current and not in default) at the time of the drawing for entries to remain eligible.
Cancellation or refund: If the rental agreement is cancelled, terminated, or any portion of the prepayment is refunded for any reason before the drawing date of August 3, 2026, all bonus entries above the base 2 entries shall be automatically voided. If the rental is cancelled in full, all entries from that rental shall be voided. This rule prevents gaming of the prepayment tiers and applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Limit: One (1) rental agreement counts as one (1) entry tier per Entrant. Renting multiple units does not multiply the entry tier; the highest applicable tier across the Entrant's rental(s) will apply.

Method 2 — Free Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

Hand-print on a 3" x 5" card the following information:

Your full legal name
Your daytime phone number
Your email address
A statement that reads: "I am 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of Montana."

Mail the completed card in a #10 envelope with proper first-class postage to:

Each mail-in entry must be mailed in a separate envelope. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by July 30, 2026 and received by August 1, 2026 to be eligible.

5. Entry Limits and Restrictions

Rental method: No household cap on rental entries. The Entrant's prepayment tier determines the entry count, subject to the cancellation/refund rule in Section 4.
Mail-in method: Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Maximum thirty (30) total mail-in entries per household during the Sweepstakes Period.
An Entrant may use both entry methods.
Entries that are illegible, incomplete, late, lost, misdirected, garbled, mutilated, mechanically reproduced, generated by automated means, or otherwise non-compliant with these Rules will be disqualified.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, damaged, or undelivered mail, or for any technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind.
Use of any robot, script, automated entry method, multiple email addresses, multiple identities, or other deceptive practice to enter is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification of all of that Entrant's entries.
All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.
In the event of a dispute over the identity of an Entrant, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address or the named addressee on the rental agreement.

6. Prize

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.

Grand Prize: Six (6) months of free base rent on a Standard Self-Storage Unit at Blue Knight Storage.

Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $570.00, based on six (6) months of rent on a 10x15 non-climate-controlled unit at $95.00 per month.

The Prize applies only to Standard Self-Storage Units as defined in Section 2. The Prize is not redeemable for, and may not be applied to, commercial leases, whole-building leases, ground leases, or any other rental arrangement not publicly listed on Sponsor's website.

The actual value of the Prize received by the Winner may be higher or lower depending on the unit rented and any applicable promotional rates. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of the Prize will not be awarded as cash or otherwise.

7. Prize Conditions and Restrictions

Base rent only. The Prize covers the monthly base rental rate for one (1) Standard Self-Storage Unit at Blue Knight Storage. The Prize does not include administrative fees, application fees, late fees, lock fees, gate access fees, insurance or tenant protection plans, taxes, fuel surcharges, prorated charges, or any other fees, charges, or add-ons.
Standard Self-Storage Units only. The Prize is redeemable solely against Standard Self-Storage Units as defined in Section 2. The Prize cannot be applied to, exchanged for, or used in connection with commercial leases, whole-building leases, ground leases, custom leases, or any other rental arrangement not publicly listed on Sponsor's website at blueknightstorage.com.
Existing renters. If the Winner is currently renting a Standard Self-Storage Unit at Blue Knight Storage at the time of winner verification, the Prize will be applied as six (6) consecutive months of free base rent on the Winner's existing unit, beginning on the next regular billing date following winner verification. If the Winner's only rental relationship with Sponsor is a commercial lease, whole-building lease, or other non-standard arrangement, the Prize cannot be applied to that lease; the Winner may instead redeem the Prize for a Standard Self-Storage Unit subject to the limits described below, contingent on the Winner being eligible to participate under Section 3.
Mail-in winner who is not currently renting. If the Winner is a mail-in Entrant who does not have an active rental at the time of verification, the Prize is redeemable for six (6) consecutive months of free base rent on any Standard Self-Storage Unit, up to a 10x20 non-climate-controlled unit (maximum monthly base rent value of $120.00), subject to availability at Sponsor's facility. If the Winner chooses a larger or higher-priced Standard Self-Storage Unit, the Winner is responsible for paying the difference between the Prize value ($120.00 per month maximum) and the actual rent for the chosen unit.
Consecutive months. The Prize must be used in six (6) consecutive months and cannot be split, paused, banked, or applied retroactively to past charges.
Claim deadline. The Prize must be claimed and the rental agreement (if applicable) must be signed within thirty (30) days of winner notification, or the Prize will be forfeited.
No cash equivalent. The Prize has no cash equivalent and is not redeemable for cash, credit, or any other substitution, except at Sponsor's sole discretion in the event the Prize cannot be awarded as described.
Non-transferable. The Prize is awarded to the Winner only and may not be transferred, assigned, sold, or gifted to another person or entity.
Account in good standing. To use the Prize, the Winner's account must remain in good standing throughout the six-month free-rent period. If the Winner's account becomes delinquent, violates the terms of the rental agreement, or is otherwise terminated, any unused portion of the Prize will be forfeited without compensation.
One Prize per household. No more than one (1) Prize will be awarded per household, regardless of the number of eligible entries received from that household.

8. Drawing and Winner Selection

The Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will take place on or about August 3, 2026 at Blue Knight Storage, Kalispell, Montana. The drawing will be conducted by a representative of Sponsor whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

9. Winner Notification and Verification

The Winner will be notified using the contact information provided at entry within five (5) business days of the drawing. Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to contact the Winner by phone, email, and/or mail.

The Winner may be required, at Sponsor's discretion, to:

Provide valid government-issued photo identification to verify identity, age, and Montana residency
Sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release
Complete an IRS Form W-9 if the Prize value exceeds reportable thresholds (see Section 11)

All required documents must be returned within seven (7) days of the date Sponsor sends the notification.

10. Forfeiture and Alternate Winners

If the Winner:

Cannot be reached or fails to respond within seven (7) days of initial notification
Is found to be ineligible under these Rules
Fails to return required documents within the deadline
Refuses or is unable to accept the Prize for any reason
Is found to have violated these Rules

then the Prize may be forfeited and Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, select an alternate Winner from the remaining eligible entries or choose not to award the Prize. Sponsor is not obligated to award the Prize if no eligible Winner can be verified.

11. Taxes

The Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with receiving and using the Prize, as well as any costs associated with claiming or using the Prize that are not specifically covered in these Rules. If the Prize value meets or exceeds applicable IRS thresholds, the Winner will be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9 and may be issued an IRS Form 1099-MISC reporting the Prize value as miscellaneous income.

12. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the Prize, the Winner grants Sponsor and its agents the right to use the Winner's name, city and state of residence, voice, photograph, video, biographical information, and likeness in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, for advertising, promotional, and publicity purposes, without further compensation, notification, permission, or approval, unless prohibited by law.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected from Entrants will be used by Sponsor for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes, verifying eligibility, contacting the Winner, fulfilling the Prize, and complying with applicable laws. Sponsor will not sell, rent, or share Entrant information with unaffiliated third parties except as required by law or as necessary to administer the Sweepstakes (for example, sharing winner information with tax authorities). 14. General Conditions

By entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant agrees to:

Be bound by these Rules in their entirety
Accept the decisions of Sponsor as final and binding in all matters
Release Sponsor from any liability arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or use of the Prize, to the maximum extent permitted by law
Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be:

Tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes
Acting in violation of these Rules or any applicable law
Acting in an unsportsmanlike, fraudulent, or disruptive manner
Intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person

Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies, including criminal prosecution, from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Right to Modify, Suspend, or Cancel

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, extend, or cancel the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to:

Fraud, tampering, technical failures, or any other event beyond Sponsor's reasonable control that affects the integrity, administration, security, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes
A determination that the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned due to causes including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, weather, governmental actions, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, labor disputes, equipment failure, or unauthorized intervention

In the event of cancellation, Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, select a Winner from among all eligible non-suspect entries received up to the date of cancellation, or choose not to award the Prize.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, by entering the Sweepstakes, each Entrant releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor and its owners, members, managers, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, losses, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) of any kind arising out of or in connection with:

Participation in the Sweepstakes
The acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize
Any travel related to the Sweepstakes or the Prize
Any property damage, personal injury, or death resulting from any of the foregoing
Any printing, typographical, administrative, or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes
Any errors in the administration of the Sweepstakes or processing of entries

In no event will the Released Parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

17. Indemnification

Each Entrant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the Entrant's breach of these Rules, the Entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes, or the Entrant's use or misuse of the Prize.

18. Disputes and Governing Law

These Rules and the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Montana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Flathead County, Montana. Each Entrant hereby submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waives any objection to venue in such courts.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Entrant agrees that:

Any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event shall include attorneys' fees
Under no circumstances will any Entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, or any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses
All rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased are waived

19. Severability

If any provision of these Rules is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and if no such modification is possible, it shall be deemed severed from these Rules.

21. Platform Disclaimer

This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., Google, LinkedIn, Yelp, or any other social media platform, search engine, or third-party service. Entrants understand that they are providing information to Sponsor and not to any social media platform.

22. Acceptance of Rules

By submitting an entry, each Entrant acknowledges and agrees that they have read these Rules in their entirety, understand them, and agree to be bound by them.
